![]() ![]() Killing mobs is not rewarding (no exp) -Mobs are few and far between in the open world. At the beginning of the game you will find yourself waiting for that cooldown to do any damage to literally anything. The stars you throw are now a 60 second cooldown. This might be a side effect of no more skill trees, and should be noted that I've only played rogue. I've only seen one drop, and of course it was for a different class -Ninja has been completely ruined. People say that you get + gear once you complete a zone, but it is still very rare to get a + item. Seriously, Wollay must just be trolling because nobody could possibly think that's a good idea. The only useable thing i have received from them were rings and amulets -Gear is region locked. Scroll wheel zooms the map and the binds for zoom in and out don't work. You can't sort your inventory any more -You can't zoom in or out. You start with all of your skills and they don't get stronger in any way. Here's what's worse in the new version: -No more skill tree -No character progression. But since the Cube World Alpha exists, it is definitely not worth anything because it is just straight up worse. Acquiring artifacts needs to be more meaningful for the player, and region-locked gear, I think it can work but for the time I've played, I feel the problem is the drop rates of gear that works in more than one region. ![]() In my opinion that's not a bad thing in itself, I like the new progression system, I just think that needs to be balanced. And there are big improvements compared to the alpha version: - Terrain generation is now way more diverse and balanced - Quests, dungeons, are diverse and meaningful - Even if not perfect, the new progression system is better than the old one, when after you got all equipped with epic gear, progression stopped to make sense - Randomly generated lore is very well implemented - New pets to tame - New bosses to fight I get that most of the critics will come from people o played the game when it was released in its alpha state where the paradigm of the game was a lot different.
